Today we fly to Iceland to find the sky. Not any sky, the Aurora Borealis.
Yes, that sky.
Leaving from snowy Boston, where we now have 50-60 inches on the ground, it’s going to be like a vacation, it’s WARMER in Iceland than here!
I am packing light, just one camera and two lenses. I am using a Tamrac sling bag which I am finally getting comfortable with. It’s small and convenient to use.
I am also packing a Nikon P7000 and an extra, small tripod which I will use for interval sequences. I am experimenting with short time delay movies now, this camera has great potential. We shall see.
And of course, we will stop at the Blue Lagoon. http://www.bluelagoon.com/Geothermal-spa/
Everything in Iceland is expensive, even a short stay at The Blue Lagoon is about $50.
And I will not eat Puffin, they are way too pretty.
