It was hot and sticky, humidity was about 90%, that’s how it is in Miami. The kind of sticky that makes me want to sit down in an air-conditioned restaurant and just hang. But there are beautiful things to see and this was one of those moments to really see what was going on and not pay attention to my own whining.
Florida in the summer has flash rain storms and they clear leaving some of the most beautiful cloud formations. I was on the other side of the harbor when I noticed these “rolling” clouds forming and found a position where I could make best use of the angle of the sun and the height from the harbor. I climbed to the top but as soon as I reached the upper deck, I saw this unworldly view of The Miami Skyline and it made me smile.
