It’s not often I get to sleep with the fish in the ocean, but tonight is one of those nights because, you see… I am in a room hovering over the tidewater pool inlet just a few feet above the water. The sea is quiet tonight as it washes clean the ills of the day, polishing the sky to make it shine anew, as it does most every night.
Before this moment of peace descends upon us, there’s that moment of in-between where the light is low, golden and tired as it goes to rest for the night. That’s the time, the moment I like the best before the dark sets in to a whole ‘nother world, which comes out to play later.
The sun going down on the opposite side of the Tidewater Hotel in Vinalhaven, ME. The puffy skies and swirly clouds are perfect for some Infrared photography, which I quickly obliged.
Tomorrow is my 1st day on the island starting fresh in the morning. I am hoping for clouds, warm temps and interesting destinations.
Sleep well fishes, family and friends….
